National Geographic Institute of Argentina, NGI for short. In Argentina, Diego Pinon is the head of the Geodesy Division of the NGI. He is studying a Master by Research at RMIT University in Melbourne and trying to determine a Local Geoid for Argentina. The Geodesy Division of NGI, contains around 30 people. Ten are professionals from Survey Engineering and Electronic Engineering, the others are topographers and land surveyors. They can provide the following services and products:
RINEX files from CORS network (RAMSAC)
RTCM streaming from CORS (the service is called RAMSAC-NTRIP )
Geodetic Reference System (POSGAR07 is the present System based on ITRF05 at 2006.632 epoch).

Gravimetric Network
Dissemination of time
Sergio Rubén Cimbaro is the Director of the NGI. His background is in Geodesy. Besides being the Director of the NGI he is a Professor at Buenos Aires University. There, he teaches the subject Geodesy II (satellite geodesy and GPS theory).
