报告："How Granular is Coal?"
It is about how particles at all scales in coal (meaning micro-, meso- and macroscopic) can be measured, the data transformed and then statistical analysis run on the results.

Cipher 公司研究员，新西兰坎特伯雷大学副教授，在国际煤层气领域享有盛誉，曾担任多个著名能源企业的技术主管、总经理和副总裁；在煤层气领域发表的文章入选TOP5%，发表国际刊物文章50余篇，报告、指南等100余篇，会议摘要60余篇，数十次大会特邀报告；曾任国际有机岩石协会主席。
短课程：Application of Information Technology in Geoscience
主讲人：Simon Xu 教授，阿尔哥玛大学
加拿大阿尔哥玛大学计算机系系主任、教授。中国科学院合肥物质科学院特聘研究员，武汉大学国际软件学院，云南大学软件学院客座教授。比利时Liege大学博士，美国韦恩州立大学计算机科学博士。曾在比利时LHoist, Carmeuse地质公司工作3年，编著7本软件工程学书籍，在国际著名专业期刊杂志会议上发表过80多篇学术论文，任多个专业期刊编委，国际大会的主席。
